Ways to Get Involved

Register with Volunteer Solutions

In order to improve communication between United Way, our Impact Partners and our volunteers, we are using an online volunteer management system called Volunteer Solutions.  By registering with Volunteer Solutions, you will be able to offer volunteer opportunities or view and sign up for volunteer opportunities.

If you are one of the 80 organizations in our area that already has an account on Volunteer Solutions, but can’t remember your log in, please e-mail Katie.Smith@HFUW.ORG.    

Getting Started:   If you don’t have an account already, registering on Volunteer Solutions is simple!  Just follow the steps below:
1. Click on http://volunteer.truist.com/ (below)
2. Click on:  Create an Account
3. Select: FL – Orlando from the drop down menu  

This will take you to our partner Volunteer Orlando. After you fill out your application, you will be contacted via e-mail by someone in the Volunteer Resource Center.  Once you are approved, your agency will have access to post information concerning all types of agency and volunteer needs.  You will also have the opportunity to have volunteers and supplies referred to your agency by United Way!     Welcome aboard!

Weekend Hunger Backpack Program
Help us combat hunger in our own community. Hundreds of children show up hungry to public schools every Monday , because they have not had enough to eat over the weekend. Follow the link above to be a part of the solution to this problem.
