After-School/Summer Programs for Low-Income Families $382,159 5,100 children with after-school care. 1,600 children participate in summer school programs. 4,200 mentor hours provided for 350 at-risk youth. 2,500 youth participate in anti-violence programs. 4,500 youth participate in sports programs.
Impact: At-risk youth will avoid drugs, crime and teen pregnancy. They will graduate and get jobs. At-risk children will gain self-confidence, self-esteem and improved mental and physical health.
69% of children classified as “Ready to Learn” when enter kindergarten. 400 children on wait list for subsidized child care. Child Care & Child Care Provider Training $139,500 140 day care providers trained in early learning, 2550 age appropriate books distributed to 1,850 families.
Impact: At-risk children will be ready to learn when they enter school.
2,100 domestic violence arrests a year. 3,300 children abused or neglected year. Child Abuse & Neglect Treatment and Prevention $109,163

Impact: Children will be rescued from abuse and neglect, receive family support and supervised visitation. Programs will reduce trauma and end the cycle of abuse.
13% of families below poverty level. 46.9% of students on free/reduced lunch.  Parenting Skills & Support $447,631 (Success By 6) 5,500 participants in child abuse prevention, domestic and teen violence prevention programs. 3,000 home visits to increase parenting skills. 750 parents trained in early learning. 
Impact: Parents will raise children who are ready to learn when they enter school.  Parents will be advocates for their children and will have gained parenting skills.
