1,900 homeless individuals (average age = 9 years old)
635 families require temporary housing due to disasters
Interim Housing $173,730 1,700 individuals provided temporary shelter, food, and family counseling. More than 45,000 meals provided. Over 11,000 shelter nights provided for homeless and runaways in need of shelter.
Impact: Children will be safe from abuse. Teen runaways will have a safe place to go. Programs will reduce homelessness.
1,900 families (5,600 individuals) seek assistance/year due to job loss, injury, illness, etc. Emergency Relief $52,557 825 families (2,945 individuals) receive assistance in paying rent/utility bills. 635 families receive assistance in the case of emergency.
Impact: Those in crisis will rebound from disaster or financial hardship, receive assistance and develop a plan for the future.
13% of families live in poverty. 16% of individuals live in poverty. Food & Clothing Distribution $100,000 15,567 individuals (5,000) families provided food, clothing and furniture assistance.
Impact: Our community’s most needy will receive food, clothing and help to achieve financial stability.
