Whitney

Whitney is the proud mother of a healthy baby girl; she is also a high school student. Though she didn’t plan to get pregnant, she does plan to graduate from high school and has high hopes of becoming a pediatrician. She is getting a helping hand from a weekly home visitation program supported by your investment in United Way. Since the birth of her daughter, a counselor visits her every week and teaches her about early childhood development. She learns about stress management, growth stages, healthy eating and the importance of reading to the baby.
