I chose the microphone as my emjoi because of its irony. Everyone knows I don’t need a mic!
Why I do this work: A survivor of generational poverty and raised in the inner city, Norinda spent her earliest years of employment providing administrative support to numerous nonprofit programs and initiatives in the areas of operations, governance and fundraising. Norinda has a deep understanding and appreciation for the impact that high quality social service and educational programming can have on the community and its members.
