ReadingPals Interns

We are currently searching for Interns our ReadingPals Initiative, a reading mentoring program which aims to enhance a child’s reading ability and reading enjoyment. Interns will be trained and play a key role in volunteer management, program site management, and other important tasks. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences, Education, Psychology, or have experience working with children. Communications & Marketing Intern

This intern will play a key support role in carrying out marketing and communications initiatives for United Way. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: social media posting, writing press releases, event logistics, graphic design, photography, videography and other important tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design or another related field. Community Impact Ambassador - Fall and/or Spring

Our Community Impact team offers an internship experience to qualified candidates. This internship provides a great introductory experience to non-profit management and social impact. Tasks can include but are not limited to: administrative tasks, data management, event planning and support, volunteer coordination, and tabling on behalf of United Way at local community resource fairs and events. Spring, Fall and Summer internship options are available.
