Alachua County Literacy Resource Hub

Parent Resource Hub

Welcome to the Alachua County Literacy Resource Hub. Our goal is to support parents and caregivers with clear, accessible resources that help children begin and thrive on their literacy journey.

Why Early Literacy Matters In Alachua County

Early literacy forms the foundation for lifelong learning. Children who read on grade level by 3rd grade are more likely to succeed in later grades, graduate high school, and pursue future opportunities with confidence.

In Alachua County, many of our students are still working toward meeting state literacy benchmarks. When children fall behind in reading, it can affect their academic progress and future success. This hub was created to offer parents and caregivers the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to support their child’s development. Together, we can help every child build strong reading skills, and a strong future.
