Small Business Spotlight- Power Production Management

Jason Gonos, Director & Co-Founder of Power Production Management

1. Tell us about your business; and what is your business philosophy?
Our Mission: Make solar simple.

At PPM, we have a passion for solar and are driven to become a global solar energy provider. Our mission is achieved through providing rewarding investments and exceptional service for every solar project we construct.

Our Philosophy: Every client is completely satisfied.

We realize that this is a difficult goal, but it must be pursued at all times. PPM was founded with the goal to provide the most valuable service for our customers. We believe that this is only way to run a business. Through high quality work, we pledge to conduct business with accountability and focus on customer service for investors, utilities, non-profits, government, commercial and residential clients. As part of this commitment, we instill these values in every member of our team and are devoted to creating an exceptional solar experience every time.

2. Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way’s Community Investment Fund?
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the community for businesses and leaders that are very busy.  The United Way disburses funds to where they are needed most and has oversight into the use of those funds.

3. What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?
I played guitar and clarinet for a long time.  Not very good any more though :)

4. What would your older self tell your younger self?
It's going to take a lot longer than you think, but it is still worth it.  Now get to work!

5. What is your favorite quote?
“What we do now echoes in eternity.” -Marcus Aurelius

Small businesses play a critical role in maintaining a thriving local economy. They are no less important to the success of United Way, as we endeavor to improve lives through our work in education, income, and health. Our Small Business Partners are an important, growing family of donors, who are vital to helping us meet the needs of our community.
