United Way of North Central Florida has been a staple of our community since 1957. Covering six counties - Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union - United Way exists to positively impact the health, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency of our region.

Women United celebrates the power of women to bring about positive change in our community through fundraising, volunteering, networking, and learning opportunities that focus on education and early-childhood development.

Financial Security

Everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a living that can sustain a family and build security for future generations. That’s why we’re partnering to help more adults thrive in a career, live in quality housing and build generational wealth.

Youth Opportunity

At United Way, we want all kids to soar. So we work with the people who care for them — from families and neighbors, to schools and community agencies — to connect young people with the support they need.

Healthy Community

Everyone deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. At United Way, we help people overcome barriers to good health by improving access to nutritious food and quality health education and services, including preventative care, mental health support, and more.
