1. Tell us about your business; and what is your business philosophy?

From large-scale remodels to a simple quick makeover, the design team at Quality Deisgnworks will expertly reflect your personal taste, style, and vision. Quality Designworks is a full-service residential design firm, which focuses on residential projects as well as specific commercial spaces. We pride ourselves on designing a beautiful, yet functional, space based upon our client’s needs and desires for their home.

Our hope and mission is to approach each project with a vision that is a true reflection of the client’s aesthetic goals, all while being equally functional, beautiful and meet their economic requirements.

2. Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way’s Community Investment Fund?

Being a seventh generation Floridian, also means that Florida is my home. I have called Gainesville my home for the past 29 years, and so have my parents and their parents. Nowhere else will ever have the special place in my heart like Gainesville does. That being said, investing in my community means everything to me, because I want to see the place I call home grow and continue to develop so I can one day raise my family here.

3. What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?

I am a seventh generation Floridian.

4. What would your older self-tell your younger self?

Make a conscious effort to maintain relationships with people and take the time to get to know the people you come in contact with. Friendships get deeper, not wider.

5. Favorite quote?

“Don’t be the loudest person in the room, but rather, be the person people listen to when you speak.” - Anonymous
