United Way's Day of Action was a success!

On Friday, June 20, we held our annual Day of Action. Now in its sixth year, United Way Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED. It is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by improving the building blocks for a good quality life- education, income, and health. This year, we collected diapers and unopened toiletries.

Donations were received from people and organizations all over Gainesville including Bosshardt Realty, Carr, Riggs, & Ingram, UFHealth Shands, Gainesville Chevrolet Cadillac, and more! Thank you so much to everyone who donated!

All of the donated items will be given to our wonderful agency partners. The unopened toiletries will be donated to Peaceful Paths, St. Francis House, and Catholic Charities. These organizations help individuals in times of crisis, who need support from their community.

The diapers will be donated to Partnership for Strong Families, Gainesville H.I.P.P.Y., and Healthy Families Alachua. These organizations help to ensure that very young children are having all of their basic needs met.
