1. Tell us about your business; and what is your business philosophy?

Schneider and Associates Insurance Agencies is a Florida-based, family-owned and operated business.  We first opened in 2003 with three team members and one location and now have two locations with 23 team members.  We specialize in home, auto, recreational vehicles, manufactured homes and small businesses insurances. Our team also services specialty markets for homeowner associations, child care and self-storage facilities, manufactured home parks and restaurants.

Business philosophy – We are committed to our community, customers and team members. Our team works quickly to find you the best rates in Florida and assist you in make the best insurance decisions. We intentionally foster a culture of home and family from the moment you enter our doors. So, much so, that many of our customers prefer to stop by the office rather than mail their premiums just so they can stop in to say hello!

2. Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way’s Community Investment Fund?

We love that our contributions to United Way are leveraged through state and federal grants to maximize our impact on our community. We know that making positive change in our community is our responsibility. We love Gainesville and want to do our part to help it thrive.

3. What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?

Paul Schneider, President of Schneider & Associates, has never met a hot sauce he couldn’t handle.

4. What would your older self, tell your younger self?

You don’t build a business, you build people and then people build the business.
