Small Business United

Founded in summer 2014, Small Business United is focused on uniting small businesses within a six-county service area through investing in United Way of North Central Florida. Through United Way, small businesses support more than 30 nonprofit programs providing services in health, education, financial stability and immediate needs. Since its inception, the small business partner program has raised over half a million dollars for our community.

Why become a Small Business Partner?

Affordable Philanthropy – Small Business United now offers three levels of partnership starting with annual commitments of $600 (or $800 in-kind), $1200 or $2400 per year, with the convenience of auto-payments and the option to amortize payments monthly.

Collective Impact – Small Businesses support United Way's mission to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community. This includes the counties of Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy and Union. United Way's Community Investment Fund currently supports 29 nonprofit programs meeting this mission.

Networking That Matters – Small Business United partners enjoy networking events with fellow small business owners. Opportunities to connect include quarterly educational breakfasts, networking socials, an annual Small Business Summit, volunteer opportunities, and invitations to attend United Way of North Central Florida Signature events. A private Facebook group unites partners online.
